Practise makes perfect

Practise makes perfect

purple1This photo was taken in Taipei, Taiwan. The students in purple are rehearsing something at the Confucius temple. This religion honours master Confucius. Students have to learn 6 arts; music, archery, calligraphy, computation, chariot riding and rituals. This group was walking in pairs, repeating a sentence I couldn’t understand. The man on stage is guiding the students and giving directions. He had some helpers surrounding the students. It looked like they were practising for an official ceremony, but I’m still not sure what was going on. It felt strange to walk here as a tourist, but I couldn’t resist taking this snapshot.
