It’s that time of the year again. The sun’s bright and hot and while others enjoy the beach I start thinking about winter. It’s not that I don’t like the sun, it’s just that I really want to find a cool job for this winter. It’s been a while since I last skied and meanwhile I see all those snowy photos from people who are not living upside down in the northern hemisphere. After working in the ski fields for two seasons I’m hooked.
Every day I am tempted to look for jobs online, even though I know they aren’t posted yet. My departure for New Zealand comes closer and in my head NZ is already associated with a winter of racing down the slopes. I can totally see myself living with other snowbums, working in an awesome resort and playing every chance I get. I would just feel so much more relieved if I knew I had a job. It’s tempting to start dreaming, but I don’t want to be disappointed. So I look back at my ski photos so far. To me, that’s very tempting.

This week’s travel theme is tempting, check out Where’s my backpack? for more entries.
Mmm … I also dream of snow. Being from Brisbane the snow is a long ways away
You can have some of our snow… we’ve had three straight months of it! Not that I really mind, to be honest.
