Travel theme: orange

Besides my favorite color, orange is also my country’s national color. It was only a few weeks ago that I was wearing orange socks to work on days that the Netherlands played a match on the world cup in Brazil. While travelling I mostly see orange in the sunsets and sunrises, like in this photo from Porec, Croatia. I love how the sun gives everything an orange glow. The fish is a lantern I found at a temple in Taipei, Taiwan. The candles stood in the snow castle in Finland. In a different part of Finland I found the cutest house, with a basket of orange flowers on the wall. And then another favorite: Rammstein. My favorite band played on Rock Werchter a few years ago. Their orange flames create a hot performance.
