World cups

World cups
June 30, 2014 by andreaonderweg

The World Cup fever is contagious and it’s spreading all over the world. Even here in New Zealand, where football isn’t a major sport, it’s everywhere. Queenstown’s bars are filled with supporters from all over the world and occasionally a game is on TV. Last week I spent an early morning on the couch with my housemate and his friends. They were supporting Chile, I was supporting The Netherlands. This morning my alarm went off at 4AM for the match against Mexico.

Over at Where’s my backpack, Ailsa adapted this week’s travel theme to World Cups. For all the entries, check out her blog. This is my version of cups. Pitcher plants in Borneo, silverware in Vienna and tea cup in Taipei.
